  1. No problem, thanks for reading. You are definitely more fiscally savvy than me. It is too bad this article "clearly" only talks about Providence and does not implicate Fall River in any way...there are no problems in Fall River, employment is up, foreclosures are down, and potholes are paved with gold.

  2. Mr. Sensitive. There are huge problems in Fall River. The narrative in the article focuses on Providence's problems. Fall River is merely in the metro area with Providence. We have big problems but when the writer mentions Providence, Providence, Providence, it's not about Fall River, Fall River, Fall River. It's called making it about something it's not in an attempt to put down Fall River and it speaks to credibility. We are horrible but this article wasn't about us being horrible it was about Providence. Stop twisting it to make it what you want it to be about.

  3. Well..I mknow the article dealt primarily with Providence, but the figures come from the "Providence, New Beford and FALL RIVER" MSA, so , the figures DO reflect Fall River, as well as NB and P..the article was about P, but the stats we're for the entire region. So we're BOTH right. That's just a fact.

And while the unemployment number went down a bit, we now went from #3 to #1 in the entire state for unemplyment rate. I never try to make this City look more horrible than it is..............................because................the City and some of it's people, and ALL of it's politicians do that job for all of us. And that also is a fact. I suggest you either spend alot more time either in Providence or Boston, or just cover all of your rose covered mirros at home. I'm glad you have pride in your City, but geeze....it's not looking so good. Now, if we get a casino, and our unemployment rate goes way down... :-)

  4. BTW...you are the same person who keeps coming here and takes great affrontery at anyone's less than glowing comments about the City False Pride built. Look my friend, not everyone loves what goes on down here. And I mean, people born and bred here. It's their right, like it's my right, to express an intelligent opinion. You might try to become a bit more sophisticated in your thinking because this City needs more sophisticated thinking. Or at least more realistic thinking. The "we are the best place on earth" position you espouse is lacking , badly, on it's face. That's just a message from me, a very credible, sensitive person, to you, and angry, low self esteem maven who wants to expound on the greatness that is long gone, and the future that might never be unless you and those who think like you get your head out of your.......
