No You Didn't !

In the interest of humanity and a better mutual understanding between you, the reader, and I, the writer of this blog, I have decided to start a new series of entries which I hope to make a  regular feature of chowmeinsammich. This regular feature will contain some of the funniest and saddest things I have ever seen in my life.

Simply put, I will expose the readers of this blog to the general level of discourse which exists in Fall River. I will do this by reprinting selected comments from the Fall River Herald News's (HN) commenters section from their articles posted online. They will astound and amaze you. They certainly do me whenever I read them. Hopefully this will serve to scare the reader half to death about the average level of intellect and and sophistication of Fall River citizens, or at least this one self selected sample. I say self selected because these people choose to write their comments, most often reflecting how, I am sure, they really feel, day after day, often with different screen names. This is rather easy to figure out with people having their own objectives, by displaying their own fears, and in many easy to determine cases the love of all things related to the dreaded Fox News.

Where is Sam Sutter with the dangerousness hearing?
So two rappers from New Bedford are sitting in jail since before Thanksgiving because they wrote a song and mentioned some people in it but this lady reports a false crime, lies to police, discharges a large caliber handgun, etc... and gets to go before a magistrate - like people who run red lights.
I thought any crime in Bristol County where a handgun was involved was going to be taken seriously.

Well, all I can say is that "Carl Drew" is either a certain local radio host who is currently sporting a huge shiner, or a close "friend" of his, who is awaiting trial for "assult with a Deadly Weapon, to wit, a motor vehicle ", and "meghan" is a person well known to Fall River police, and as you can tell, both are inveterate cop haters. They also appear to be extremely embittered and angry people, and one could suspect the the anger and rage pre-dates any and all mal involvement with the FR police. I guess. My oh My! Henry, you claim that you are angry because people who don't know you judged you, and yet your are judging a women that I suspect you don't know because she is married to a police officer. Carl Drew you keep hopping on the dangerous statue, but you are mis-informed about that charge. The charge was for people with ILLEGAL GUNS, not people who have a gun license. Why don't you two cry foul that the media is sticking together. I'm sure I will hear all kinds of more negative comments, and I won't even entertain them by responing back. I will pray for all of you with hate in your hearts. I am also not saying that every police officer is good, but the majority of them are, and try to help people. I will also pray for the Smith family's small child because the family has recieved death threats since the incident. Do you know Mrs. Smith was viciously attacked about a month before the incident? Yes, I know this because I know someone who knows the family.

Apparently all the negative comments on here have never had a family member with issues, or problems with the law. For the people that are supposed to be good Catholics and Christians, why don't we try a little forgiveness this holiday season."

These are comments made by a guy named meghen whose real name is Henry and who did substantial time in prison and is well known to the police who also troll the net so they can argue with mindless felons and those who might be so, soon. "Henry, it's obvious that no matter what is said you are going to have something negative to say. I do promise this will be my last post regarding this issue. You are quite the man, convicted drug dealer, a brother charged with murder. Now you are father of the year, qualified to make judgements on everyone else just as long as it isn't you. You cast stones, but you can't see the hypocricy of judging other people that I still assume that you don't know. You said that it bothered you when people judged you, but they didn't know you. That makes you a hypocrite! Well Mr. Alfonso, I don't know if you believe in Kharma, and 'what goes around comes around,' but chances are you are going to have to endure some of these same issues that this family is going through when your brother possibly gets covicted. Before you cast more stones, I would check to see how many of your family members live in glass houses. Either way, I'm sure you will have some negative response to this comment as well. PS: There was no child at home unlike the Tiger Woods issue, which appeared to be domestic violence. However, you and I don't really know the Tiger Woods incident initimately, just like we don't know the Smith incident intimately either. If you are getting all your facts from the news and paper, why would you belive it now, when I belive you said that they didn't get your story right when you were in the paper years back." 1- Sam Sutter promised any crime involving a gun would result in a dangerousness hearing
2- This woman is dangerous. I say this because she discharged a large caliber handgun and lied to police.
3- If she has a small child I would hope DSS is investigating. It would seem there may be saftey issues for the child, as this woman seems to be in a fragile mental state and may pose a danger to her child
4- Taxpayers should not foot the bill for this.
5-I have no axe to grind with the police. My issue is that Mr. Sutter is not following through with what he promised. Justice is supposed to be blind.
Gun crimes were supposed to equal dangerousness hearings.
What is more dangerous - some rapping bozos who made a dumb song (who are considered dangerous and are being held in jail) or a woman who had half of the town's police department out looking for a minority home invader who didn't exist and is shooting guns? (Editor's note: Hey Mike, what those two mensa members did is called "uttering a terrorist threat". Who is more dangerous, a loudmouthed, ignorant radio host, or some rageful whack-job who tried to run down someone with their car? I just askin' here!)

Meghen is ABSOLUTELY correct! I was dragged before a Magistrate TWICE for 'Threatening to commit a crime,' back in '06. The first Magistrate threw the complaint out because it was so ridiculous, the creeps went running to the office to file ANOTHER one, & I was humiliated again for nothing, absolutely NOTHING. The 2nd magistrate had been 'Bought Off' or whatever to order me to have NO CONTACT with the complainants for one year. All this brought about because my little hispanic scar faced 'Boss' could'nt read or comprehend properly. Then, 7 months before the one year review, I receive a letter reminding me about the hearing coming up in Sept of '07. This was a ploy to have me go 'Off The Wall. Again, All because my scar faced little hispanic twerp 'Boss' could'nt read or comprehend properly. I did what I was told to do by the 'EEO' officer. Ergo, Meghen is CORRECT. There are different rules for different people. Money, Looks, Connections & so forth make all the difference in the world. TWO SETS OF RULES. PERIOD. The system is inherently unfair & biased. (Editor's note: Sounds like a very credible witness to me...howze by you? THIS is what I fear most while walking the streets of the RIEVE!)

You consistently post misinformation on almost every story. Sam Sutter has no role in this case until it goes to arraignment. Your complaints should be lodged with Somerset PD.
Sam Sutter promised dangerousness hearings for those charged with ILLEGAL gun crimes and he followed through on that promise. The results were great, as shootings decreased across the county. People who have a valid license, can not be charged with an illegal gun crime. But what's utterly ridiculous is that you seem to be ignorant to the fact that the Supreme Judicial Court ruled in May of this year that District Attorneys can no longer request dangerousness hearings for illegal gun crimes. So, even if this case did fit into that criteria, he would be unable to request a dangerousness hearing. the DA; the mayors; the police chiefs and the legislators have all been talking about this for six months now, and they are all working to get legislation passed to give that right back to the DAs. You really don't know what you are talking about and it seems to me that you just have a grudge against Sutter for whatever reason. The guy has done a great job as DA\, and I for one am very happy that I voted for him over Walsh.

Now then, this case will not be in Sutter's hands until that Magistrate rules there is enough evidence to merit the criminal charge. You can debate whether Somerset Police should have handcuffed her and brought her right into court instead of summonsing her, but you can not be critical of the district attorney when he has nothing to do with any of this.
If and when, she finally goes to court to be arraigned, then the DA's Office takes over the prosecution. And even at that point, the DA can NOT request a dangerousness hearing because the law does not allow prosecutors to do that.
Wake up Carl Drew! I am all for fair criticism of elected officials, but you are just spreading lies (Editor's note: Nope...ths guy is clearly deranged...why in the world would you EVER listen to this crackpot! God, get rid of THIS guy, and fast...Also...has anyone noticed that we are hitting a two day rant here!)

This is what happens when u are a cops wife. If this was anyone else they would be in jail and in court the next day. This is why we pay for our cops so that there stupid wifes can pull stupid **** like this and get away with it. She should be in jail but I guess it pays for being a cops wife. Wasting taxpayers money on jokes like this , she should be ashamed of herself. She didn't only put herself in danger but her son too.. What would happen by accident her son was near her at the time and she shot her son instead of herself. This women is a joke and almost put a innocent man in jail for 10 yrs to life.. And what makes any of us think this is NOT the way a great portion of people in Fall River actually think and converse? Sorry folks, yes it's funny at times, but mostly, it's just plain sad!
